Rather than send out a tonne of emails and forum posts I just wanted to apologize for the lack of posts and updates here on my blog, in the forums and in the lifers group.
My fathers passed away on March 31st quite suddenly.
He was only 57 so this has come as a bit of a shock.
As soon as the funeral is over and I know my mum is ok I will get caught up.
I will try and schedule some freebies in the meantime.
Thank you everyone for your patience.

Love you dad xxx

I am so sorry for your loss. My mother passed away in February, it wasn't unexpected but the loss was & still is painful. God bless you & I hope you find comfort & peace in the precious memories.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Praying for you and your mother. May this poem I wrote bring you comfort.

Hear My Silent Cry

I express my thoughts,
with a silent plea,
when I'm all alone with
just the Lord and me.

Sprinkled with sadness,
yet woven with love,
no one understands trouble
like the Lord above.

I speak in tomes
but no written word,
of hurts too deep, unshared,
but has God heard?

My pleas, my cries
of inner grief...
I search alone...
for peace, relief.

Then suddenly,
a pregnant pause,
hands fold in prayer
contemplating the loss.

A word I hear,
a whispered thought...
My heart responds,
my breath is caught.

He's heard my cries;
I'm alone no more!
I feel His presence
enter my heart's door.

Seconds tick on
as peace rains down,
slowly exhaling
it's me God's found.

No one can replace your father, but through each pang of grief, God will be there to help you and the memories you created over the years will ease the sorrow of your heart.
With prayer, Dotty Barwick
