Easter Egg Free Digital Stamp

After I went blog hopping yesterday I saw some beautiful creations made with hollowed out eggs.
One had a Magnolia stamped girl in the center with grass, flowers, a beautiful ribbon on the
the top and pearls around the opening..
I really wish I had saved the link so you could all see how amazing it was.
That is where the idea for todays free digital stamp came from.
Grass is so not my strong point but I hope it looks ok.

Spring Sentiment freebie

The sun is shining the birds are singing and it is beautiful.
I just love this time of year. Being woken by the birds singing their dawn chorus and seeing all the flowers poking their heads above the soil to see if it's safe to come out yet.
I am hoping this weather lasts as it has such an awesome effect on everyone's mood don't you think ?
Of course it means I won't be on the computer as much because i'll be in the garden starting off all my seeds.
Starting late this year but it has been so bitterly cold. Marigolds were started last week and are already sprouting. I have lots of photos from the ones I grew last year and boy did they grow. Of course the Miracle grow compost helped them along LOL
Ok ok I can hear you all asking me to quit the blabbing.
That is of course if anyone actually reads my posts other than just scrolling to the bottom for the download link ROFL

Excuse my mess

In case you haven't noticed I am attempting to change the theme LOL Things will look a bit wonky but hopefully not for long. Today is the start of my big metamorphis. Ok so it's not going to be too huge. I have spent a couple of days creating card sheets and I even spent a few minutes working on the garden and actually talking to the kids. I'm including this in case you get questions about the kit's distribution after the kit is released on March 13th. I recommend you send them directly to the blog to read it, but this is in case you prefer to answer them yourself.   This information is all on the "How To Donate 4 Seasons" page on our blog.

• Once a donation is complete, the donator will automatically receive a receipt from the Salvation Army detailing their donation.  This receipt does not have any credit card or paypal information on it, just the type of card used and donation amount.  The minimum donation to receive the kit is $10 USD
• They're asked to please forward that receipt to me at this address - taggers2gether4NZ@gmail.com.
• Once I have their receipt I will send them the link to my 4shared account along with the password they need to download all 47 kits that make up Seasons.  Please give me 24 hrs to get the links to them due to the volume of requests I expect to receive.  If they do NOT hear from me with the link within 24 hours of sending it, I've asked them resend their receipt again.  We all know that emails can be tricky sometimes and their email possibly was eaten by the cyber world.

Free Digi Stamp heaven

I have actually been using my computer to...... browse the internet..... who would have thought it huh ?
Came across some fabulous sites today and have to say WOW and will be sharing them with you all as I find some goodies.
Of course all you seasoned crafters will probably already know about them but for any noobs like me they will be new LOL
Any cat lovers are just going to adore all the stamps on here , there are other super cute digi stamps on there as well. Enjoy snagging, I know I certainly am.

Time for a change

For all my followers this is good and bad news, depending on why you are following LOL

I have found myself over the last 2 years getting buried under all my various obligations.

Many I know have been my own doing and I have no one to blame but myself.
All is purely my own fault and because I hate to feel I am letting anyone down.
That has got to stop.

I have been organizing a monthly blog train, moderator of a store group, designer of a scrap store, designer for 1 card company, designer for a card making company, owner of a forum and designer for a ptu tube company to name just a few of the things that need doing.

I let all of that consume most of my waking day and it has become so time consuming that it isn't unusual for me to be spending upwards of 14 hours a day on the computer all be it in a comfy armchair.

I have decided that I need to make some changes as both my health and family are suffering because of it which isn't fair to them or myself.

Exactly what those changes are yet I haven't fully decided but needless to say it is no longer fun to turn the computer on and I have realised over the last few days that it doesn't have to be like that.

The computer isn't all about trying to make money (yes it helps lol) but should also be about the friendships you make and things you can learn and have fun with.

When my first thought was 'What can I create and sell today' I knew all the fun had gone for me.

The end result of all this will mean more freebies for everyone which is never a bad thing ;)

I will also be sharing more of what I am doing and hope to get an idea on this from the huge card making community out there.

Will this blog remain open ? Yes it will. But I may decided to open a new one and start afresh. As I say I haven't fully decided what to do yet.

Now I have bored you all I am off to design a new blog theme.

Cosmos bee bookmark keepsake freebie sheet

If you like this sheet please take a look

at my others at Craftsuprint.

Download link is at the bottom.

Instructions....

1. Print out onto your chosen medium.
I use a good quality photo paper and attach it to card
using double sided sticky tape.

2. Cut out all pieces you require.
Score and fold the flaps on the pocket.
Attach to your card with your choice of adhesive or tape.

3. Punch out a hole at the top of the bookmark where the brad is
and use an eyelet if you choose to then thread through and tie
a tassle in a colour of your choice for added elegance.

4. Add one of the banners using sticky foam pads

or silicon glue for a little added depth.
Do the same for the bows and brads

if using the ones from the sheet.

Voila, you should now have a beautiful card.
